Disasters can occur at any time and LUAD relies on its volunteers to provide their time and talents to assist the survivors. Volunteering for LUAD has the added benefit of being “local” to our Synod area. This means that when you do volunteer, even at a specific disaster site, you will be able to return home to sleep in your own bed each evening.
LUAD has the need for specific contact people in each of our Synod’s congregations so we can establish a local communication network and coordinate volunteer help.
